The 20-20-20 Rule
The 20-20-20 rule is a quick exercise you can perform whenever your eyes need a little break.
Every 20 minutes, spend 20 seconds looking at something about 20 feet away. Remember to blink and readjust your eyes so you can get back to work comfortably.
You can change several aspects of your life to help promote eye comfort, like:
- Setting your screen an arm’s length away and just below eye level
- Using a humidifier in your home or office
- Sitting away from sources of heat or wind
- Setting your screen away from glare sources
